Summary: Andy Austin describes the low-cost posters he used to promote his hypnotherapy practice in the 1990s. He could not find the originals to show, so he describes them instead. He put them on notice boards at the university, the hospital, newsagents, supermarkets and libraries. He kept them simple, with his name, a short line and a phone number, and argues that repeated sight of a poster builds familiarity before someone needs help.
