Much imitated but never matched, the Neurolinguistic Perspectives from the Andrew T. Austin series is back with new and updated material. Packed full of tips and tricks for creating effective therapeutic change, these 2-hour webinars cover the critical considerations for coaches and therapists.
The original recordings of these sessions from 15 years ago are available in the free downloads section.
Whilst popular with coaches and practitioners, these sessions are open to everyone regardless of background and intent. Many sufferers of these conditions have attended these workshops in the past to gain greater insight and strategies for managing their mental and emotional health issues.

Weight Loss – A Neurolinguistic Perspective
Dates TBA
All timings: 2pm-4pm
Price: £199
This training almost certainly won’t help you lose weight.
The training offers a practical and thought-provoking exploration of weight loss through neurolinguistic patterns, emotional drivers, and the deeper structures that sustain eating behaviours. Drawing on the original Slimming in My Attic workshop, this updated programme revisits the core material with new models, refined explanations, and expanded clinical insights.
The foundational course, Slimming in My Attic, is still available on demand for just £9.99. You can access it here: Slimming in My Attic. This live version is the same workshop taught in real time via Zoom — but with additional understanding and better practical application.
Across the session, we examine how unconscious patterning, identity-level metaphors, and linguistic framing shape eating, hunger, craving, and self-regulation. Rather than motivational advice or diet-based strategies, the focus is on the structural dynamics behind “stuck” behaviours and the shifts that genuinely create movement.
What this training covers
- How neurolinguistic framing influences appetite, cravings, and food-related decision-making.
- Identity patterns that silently maintain weight-related behaviours.
- Why conventional dieting often fails — analysed through neurolinguistic structures rather than willpower.
- The role of emotional imprinting in persistent eating habits.
- How metaphor, language, and internal narrative can create openings for genuine behavioural change.
- Practical tools and demonstrations that participants can apply immediately.
This session is suitable for practitioners, coaches, therapists, and anyone interested in the deeper psychological mechanisms that drive weight-related behaviours. No prior experience is required.
Delivered live via Zoom, this training combines teaching, demonstration, and discussion to give participants a clear understanding of how neurolinguistic processes shape eating and weight — and how these processes can be shifted with precision.
Time – A Neurolinguistic Perspective
30th September 2026
Timing: 2pm – 6pm (UK time)
Cost: £60
How do people experience time — and how does that perception shape behaviour, emotion, and identity? This training explores the subjective structure of time within the mind, and how temporal orientation influences motivation, decision-making, resilience, and psychological well-being.
This workshop provides practical tools for therapists, coaches, and anyone interested in cognitive mapping and personality dynamics. You’ll learn how different people “store” time neurologically, and how shifting these internal representations can produce measurable changes in mood, behaviour, and self-concept.
What we’ll cover:
- The structure of NLP time lines: how individuals internally encode past and future, the geometry of temporal mapping, and methods of working with fixed or dysfunctional time orientations.
- Zimbardo Time Perspective Categories: exploring orientations such as Past-Positive, Past-Negative, Present-Hedonistic, Present-Fatalistic, Future-Focused and Future-Anxious, with discussion of how these orientations influence behaviour, wellbeing, and relational patterns.
- Time coding in mental health patterns: how disrupted temporal representations are involved in rumination, trauma imprinting, anxiety, avoidance patterns, hopelessness, and identity constriction — and how to work with these patterns safely and effectively.
This is a practical, experiential, and informative training designed to expand your understanding of how the mind constructs time — and how we can help clients move from temporal distortion into temporal competence and psychological flexibility.
