Summary: Andy describes status marketing as another poor business strategy for coaches and therapists, where people collect qualifications, letters after their name, association memberships and impressive websites in the hope clients will come. He says this puts practitioners in competition with each other for grandiosity rather than paying attention to their audience, and suggests simply getting on with the work.
