Summary: Andy comments on The Long Stand, a very short piece in The Rainbow Machine made up of practical jokes played in the department store where he once worked. He uses it as a starting point to discuss stage hypnosis and hypnotherapy, in particular compliance versus an altered state, and says he remains unsure about it. He asks viewers for their own perspectives.
