Andrew T. Austin is a therapist, trainer and author. He qualified as a registered general nurse in 1992, with clinical experience that included accident and emergency (A&E) and neurosurgery, and went on to train in Ericksonian hypnotherapy, NLP (to trainer level) and Provocative Therapy with Frank Farrelly. He developed Integral Eye Movement Therapy Technique (IEMT), formalised as a training in 2008, and Metaphors of Movement. Both are included in The SAGE Encyclopedia of Theory in Counseling and Psychotherapy (2015). He is the author of The Rainbow Machine: Tales from a Neurolinguist's Journal, prefaced and edited by Steve Andreas and published by Real People Press.
Given your interest in the occult, don’t you think your explanations of Fire Walking and Tapping are somewhat superficial? My late partner was an (adept)? and Taught Crowley’s Magickal system to many and would’ve considered Tapping and Firewalking, as taught to me via Peggy Dylan, acknowledged as the Mother of the Modern Firewalk, very different to Robbins’s method, as a sacred method of stillness and peace! People screw it up and give it a bad name, just as EMDR gets. Likewise, at some point a Practioner of your method will potentially screw up! Hopefully, they won’t blame the trainer🤔 But my main point is, Tapping for world peace, Meditations, Hearth Math, Fountain groups and Alice Bailey’s followers etc have been doing just that for years! Quantum Physics does provide them relevant theories.🙂
