Summary: Andy comments on two chapters that were originally one, The Endless Loops and Obsessions and Compulsions. He uses an example from a television series to illustrate a repeating test-and-operate loop, discusses ‘what if’ loops, says he thinks the term OCD is often used loosely, and describes his own inner OCD tendencies. He argues for taking an active approach to finding the way out of such loops.
